We start our day by driving up through fertile landscapes to Tenerife’s most famous site, the Teide volcano! Once in the national park, Las Cañadas, part of Unesco, you will be met by something you have most certainly never seen before. Experience lunar landscapes, rock formations, lava and Teide’s huge crater on a completely different level. We stop at Roques de García, here you have time to walk around, photograph the rock formation and this fantastic volcano before we head on to new adventures. We stop at El Pino Gordo, which is said to be Tenerife’s largest, and Spain’s second tallest and widest pine tree with its 45,12m height and 9.36m diameter so have your camera ready! We continue the day to one of Spain’s highest positioned villages, beautiful Vilaflor, (1414m) a quiet oasis, surrounded by rural landscapes and pine trees as far as the eye can see. Its houses and streets tell the story of this part of Tenerife and are a world away from the tourist resorts. Its natural and cultural heritage invites you to spend a more relaxing time here, take the opportunity to have something good in one of the village’s cozy bars. The city’s rich heritage is evident, visit the Monastery of Hermano Pedro and the Church of San
Pedro and enjoy the beautiful statues and the serenity they exude. During the day we stop at an authentic canarian restaurant where you can enjoy some typical local dishes and something nice to drink (Not included).
