On this fantastic day, we´ll visit the most picturesque places of Tenerife. The day begins with driving north towards one of the oldest villages on the island, the fishing village of Taganana. With only around 160 inhabitants, this hidden oasis is one of the most important in the municipality of Anaga. Here you can find something for everyone, the beach for sun worshipers, trails
for the sporty and award-winning restaurants for all foodies. We stop at the beaches Tachero and Roque de Las Bodegas. Here we will wind down at one off the most famous fish restaurants in front of the views of the deep blue Atlantic Ocean. The lovely staff will greet us with already set up tables and delicious home-cooked food. This restaurant is family-owned and has been around since the 1960s. We are well taken care of whilst enjoying good food and drinks in this beautiful canarian environment, far from the exploitation of tourism. Here we enjoy a three-course meal with a drink in peace and quiet until we continue the tour in the lush greenery of the Mercedes-forest. Here the branches of the trees intertwine and form all kinds of shapes. This magical place brings to mind John Bauer’s mystical fairy tale worlds, so have your camera ready!
